In James 4:2, the scripture reads, "You have not because you ask not." As we continue to Get Financially Fit during this Financial Literacy Month, we invite back Scholarship Acquisition Specialist and Financial Professional, Carole Pinkney-Hart. In this episode, we explore how many students and parents may be spinning their wheels in an attempt to secure scholarships and/or invest in profitable college savings plans. Ms. Hart encourages you to get to know the "three money rules" that will improve your mindset around money and help you financially prosper in the way many large corporations are prospering today, despite the current economic climate. Find out why investing in an index life insurance account may be a better option than pursuing a 529 College Savings Plan after all. Ms. Hart received her Master’s in Counseling and Guidance and her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Loyola Marymount University. She also received her Pupil Personnel Credential and recently retired after 35 years of teaching generations as an Educator in the Lennox School District. After a decorated career where she was chosen as Teacher of the Year in 2015, she evolved into a Financial Professional and became the Marketing Director for World Financial Group in 2020. In a matter of two short years, she has been able to help scores of families invest and expand their scope of financial literacy. In addition, she is expanding her business in North Carolina, Texas, New jersey, Ohio, Indiana and Puerto Rico. As an innate educator, her real mission in life is to educate others. She pivoted from an elementary curriculum to the financial arena with ease. The transition has proven to be rewarding and lucrative.
