In today's episode, we focus on scholarship opportunities for foster youth. As a retired veteran and father of 3, Minister Clayton Bridgette decided to expand his family with his wife by adopting 3 foster siblings. He shares some valuable untapped financial resources available to foster children that often go unnoticed. Before pursuing these opportunities, Minister Bridgette encourages you to speak to your school counselor to find out how prepared you really are for college or vocational school. Either way, he advises that you never give up on your future because financial opportunities are waiting and he offers a few organizations you can contact today! Prior to raising his expanded family, Minister Bridgette served as a Prime Power Specialist and Army Combat Medic for over 21 years before retiring and answering the call to serve God in his ministry. This Western Advanced Central University graduate received his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. He is currently the Clinical Administrator for Surgery and Primary Care Services at Dwight D. Eisenhower Veteran Administration Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS.
