In today’s episode, Captain Bryan Durr of the U.S. Coast Guard shares the value in recognizing your ability to solve your own problems when difficulties arise in your profession. This Prairie View A&M University graduate served as Chief of the Office of Logistics and Business Operations, as well as a C130 and H65 pilot for the Coast Guard. He encourages you to maintain professionalism at all times, in order to master your craft and improve performance. Capt. Durr, USCG (Ret.) currently serves as the Deputy Director of Acquisition Services, CG-92d. He recently retired honorably after serving 30 years on active duty. His Military awards include the Legion of Merit, Joint Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, four Commendation Medals, and three Achievement Medals. He is an avid sports enthusiast and his hobbies include intense physical training, cycling and golf as the President of the Metropolitan DC Strokers Golf Club.
